Case Study: Microlift Service Lift in West London 

 

This was one of our most unusual repairs. We were asked to attend site to investigate an internal gearbox issue with a Microlift 100KG Service Lift. The client did not have a large budget available and asked if the existing Motor-Gearbox could be repaired instead of replaced.

We have repaired many of these within our workshop environment previously. We were unexpectedly informed the downtime had to been as minimal as possible and requested works were carried out in the morning only.

With no time to return the unit to our workshop for repair, we happily carried out works on site, with the equipment we had available. Works were completed in the morning as requested and the client had their lift back in to working order before their midday service. Sometimes it is more cost effective to repair, than replace. This is something we can investigate for you.
